Fringe Submissions Start Feb. 15th!!

The inaugural MKE Fringe Fest will feature theatre, dance, music, visual arts and plenty of excitement.  We are excited to open submissions to the public on February 15th, 2016.  Here are some guidelines so you know what we are looking for from the arts community!

Submissions Guidelines for the 2016 Fringe Fest

Your submission does not need to be the specific show you would perform at the MKE Fringe Fest, but a genuine example of your style, technique, medium, or artistic ability so we can determine the right fit for your show.  We will only accept one submission from any individual or group, so please do not submit multiple projects or shows.

The submission process for the Milwaukee Fringe Festival is a Juried Selection, which means submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges from each arts discipline. Submissions will be chosen based on originality, creativity, artistic integrity and relation to the mission of the MKE Fringe Fest.

Performance Time Slots will be 15, 30, 45, or 60 minute time slots. If your performance can not be cut to fill the time slot allotted, please indicate in your application how much time you need, we will do our best to accommodate any reasonable requests.

Visual Art submissions for the MKE Fringe Fest will be accepted for individual projects or working as a part of the Fringe Fest art team. Artists should submit 3 to 5 different works for consideration that are great examples of your style, medium and artistic ability.

We look forward to your submission in the first ever MKE Fringe Festival!
