2021 In-Person Festival

The fifth annual Milwaukee Fringe Festival has announced its live and virtual participants! Chosen from an impressive set of submissions, an exciting and eclectic assortment of art displays and theatre, dance, and music performances will be presented live on Saturday, August 28th and virtually in the month of August.

The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts welcomes MKE Fringe Fest back in its fifth year. Impressive and diverse local and regional acts will grace the stage of the Marcus’ Peck Pavilion stage and newly revamped outdoor areas August 28th, 2021. A general admittance ticket will afford art seekers access to an afternoon and evening full of a wide variety of outdoor performances and entertainment all for one great price.

In addition to the in-person festival, many companies and artists will provide a virtual, watch-from-home experience to audiences near and far. This is the first year the Milwaukee Fringe Festival will offer a virtual experience for art seekers and the Fringe Team is excited  to provide a wider platform for artists and audiences alike. Tickets to individual company/artist shows will be available for purchase and a one-time audience viewing. Information on tickets for virtual shows will be on mkefringe.com in early August.

Following the rich tradition of Fringe Festivals, the Milwaukee Fringe Festival is a showcase of a diverse collection of artists. From theatrical actors to painters, musicians to tap dancers, performance artists to playwrights, MKE Fringe Fest is a joyous celebration of what makes Milwaukee’s culture vibrant and extraordinary.
